INTERNATIONAL SCENARIOS OF ORGANIZED CRIME
The course addresses, in an interdisciplinary perspective and thanks to the contribution of Italian and foreign teachers, the study of the main contemporary issues related to organized crime, in its growing transnational and global dimension. The course aims to provide participants with useful elements for understanding organized crime phenomena within complex analytical and interpretative frameworks, contributing to the acquisition of the ability to develop dynamic geo-political scenarios in connection with the presence of organized criminal groups, and providing an adequate level of information on the main contemporary trends in criminal markets around the world, with particular attention to the changes that have taken place following the Covid-19 pandemic. Finally, the course has the purpose to develop a critical knowledge of international cooperation strategies and tools for the fight against transnational organized crime.
